A helicopter is mainly composed of three major systems: body and lift (including rotor and tail rotor), power, transmission, and onboard flight equipment. Rotors are generally driven by turboshaft engines or piston engines through a mechanical transmission system consisting of a drive shaft and a reducer, or by the reactive force generated by the jet from the blade tip. According to size, it can be divided into light helicopters, medium helicopters, and heavy helicopters.
