They hide during the day and emerge at night, adept at hiding in the dark. Once they discover prey, they quickly attack, making them highly mobile birds. The symbolism of owls varies greatly in different cultural backgrounds: in the West, it is a symbol of wisdom, a symbol of Athena in Greek mythology, a messenger for Harry Potter, a lucky bird in Japan, but in China, it is an ominous sign.
